Register Now for Young People’s Summer Programs.
Creative Arts Workshop’s Adventures in Art program provides
students the opportunity to explore their own individual expression
during the summer months. The program is composed of eight
one-week sessions designed for 4-6 year olds and young people
entering grades 2-5 and 6–8. Summer art classes are
also offered for young people ages 2 through teens, meeting
once or twice a week. Register online now. Spaces are limited.

Special Events
Museums on the Green. The Yale Peabody Museum
of Natural History joins other local institutions on the New
Haven Green for an afternoon of children’s activities
and a family dance party before the headline concert that
evening, which will also be geared toward families. Sunday,

Children’s Film Festival. The third
annual Children’s Film Festival features inspiring and
award-winning independent short films for a young audience.
There will be popcorn and live entertainment before the show.
Most appropriate for children ages 3–10. Saturday, June

Love to Dance. Free-form dance space. Come
with friends, family and children and dance to R&B/soul,
disco, oldies, electronica, jazz, country, techno, alternative
