SUMNER MCKNIGHT CROSBY JR. GALLERY
Formerly Small Space Gallery

Sumner McKnight Crosby Jr. Gallery, a program of the Arts Council of Greater New Haven, is located at the Arts Council offices at 70 Audubon Street, 2nd floor. The gallery features regional artists in group and thematic shows. Hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.


CURRENT EXHIBITION

The Arts Council of Greater New Haven presents Working Drawing, an exhibition curated by Jessica Cuni and Tim Applebee, in the Sumner McKnight Crosby Jr. Gallery, 70 Audubon St., 2nd floor. The exhibition will be on display Friday, May 28 through Friday, July 9. A public reception is scheduled for Saturday, June 5, from 2 to 4pm.

Curated by New Haven artist Jessica Cuni and New Haven artist and architect Tim Applebee, Working Drawing is an exhibition of pencil-drawn meditations by New Haven activists, architects, theoreticians, poets, urban planners, performance artists, visual artists, teachers, and shop workers, among others.

Cuni and Applebee are co-creators of Water/Works, a large-scale mural project that was recently installed at Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, Connecticut.
