What happens when Harold, a young village boy, discovers a dragon in the mountains? Can Harold convince the villagers that the dragon just wants to be friends? Based on the story by Kenneth Grahame, the show, performed with puppets, introduces children to literary adaptations. Suitable for ages 4-11.

Storytelling for Peabody Museum MLK Celebration, Jan. 15, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., New Haven Museum.
Storytelling and activity tables are part of the Yale Peabody Museum’s 22nd Annual "Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Legacy of Environmental and Social Justice." Held in honor of Dr. King and his efforts to ensure environmental and social justice among all people, activities planned by the Peabody Museum include world-class performances, a teen summit, a poetry slam, and educational activities for visitors of all ages. More than two dozen community organizations participate with activity or information tables.
The storytelling sessions at the New Haven Museum include engaging tales by Clifton Graves, Waltrina Kirkland Mullins, and Joy W. Donaldson.
"Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Legacy of Environmental and Social Justice" is a two-day celebration organized by the Yale Peabody Museum each year. Admission is free.
