Come join us for a week of reading and learning with some phenomenal authors! Black Children’s Book Week is a global celebration of Black children and the people who ensure Black children are represented in books and other children’s media.
Tuesday Feb 28th, 6pm Kickoff the celebration with a Read-A-Long with Patricia Bellamy-Mathis of Aspenne's Library Publishing.
Wednesday March 1st, 6pm Authors Felisha Bradshaw and Dawn Staton-Dailey share their books at the New Haven Free Public Library: Stetson Branch. Come by for light refreshments and your chance to sign-up for a library card.
Saturday March 4th, 10am We end the week with our BCBW Book Fair. This is a chance to meet some of our authors, purchase exclusive signed copies of their books, check out Possible Futures bookstore, and grab some yummy snacks on the go!
