Join photographer Kim Weston for this 6-week photography workshop, meeting on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm, between July 17th – August 21st. In this beginner to intermediate course, students improve their creative and technical skills. Through lectures, assignments and critique, students explore the practical functions of the digital camera and learn how to compose a strong and meaningful photograph. Presentations on historical and contemporary artists will introduce several genres in photography, such as portraiture, landscape, and documentary. Expand your knowledge of your camera’s aperture, shutter speed and host of functions. Be willing to push yourself to the next level to learn how to get what you see. Please bring your camera and five or more prints to the first class. ** Presented by ArtEcon Initiative. **
