Rose Hill Lecture Series The continuation of a three-part series on Rose Hill presented by Public Historian Christina Volpe. Follow the narratives of the Scovill, Welton, and Chase families as they make their fortunes and forge the way for the Brass City to flourish. Supported in part by CT Humanities. Since the 1860s Rose Hill has been known for its opulent balls, lavish weddings, and embellished funerals. Public Historian Christina Volpe brings to life the lavish style of Rose Hill during the Victorian Era. Limited seating available. Pre-registration required.
