Downtown  |  Food & Drink  |  Institute Library  |  Arts & Culture  |  Visual Arts

On the latest episode of WNHH Radio's "Kitchen Sync," Lucy Gellman talks to Global Local Gourmet Founder Nadine Nelson and artist and curator Martha Lewis about upcoming events for Melted Pots and Cooked Books, running at the Institute Library in downtown New Haven through Dec. 13.

This Saturday (Oct. 25), they include “Speaking of Food,” an open mic night with Language Chef Robert Aiudi and Sanctuary Kitchen, with culinary memories from several refugee chefs. The exhibition is curated by Lewis and includes work by Nelson among other artists. For more information on the show, go to the Institute Library's website or visit them in real life at 847 Chapel St.
