The Audubon Street Arts Festival originated to answer a cultural shift surrounding Audubon Street; a historically white, and often unwelcoming street for many creatives. It hosts many arts organizations but until recently, hasn’t been inviting for BIPOC artists. We are looking to boost this shift while also acknowledging what the street was before and what it can be in the future.

This event would activate and welcome a wide range of artists to come into the space and transform it. Many artists joining us at this event use their own stories and the history of their craft to invite learning and to grow understandings between people who come from different backgrounds.
