Arts Paper
As the editorially independent arm of The Arts Council of Greater New Haven, the Arts Paper seeks to celebrate, explore, and investigate the fine, visual, performing and culinary arts in and around New Haven.
"This is a very emotional song, so it might get a little loud in here,” BODHI said to a cheer from the audience before diving into their 2022 song "Pretty Lies.” Their voice floated over the swirling, groovy melodies of the keyboards, creating an infectious sound that absorbed the audience. All throughout Cafe Nine, people danced and nodded their heads to the rhythm, drawn in by the sound.

Nicole and Amber Bartholomew-Gordon are the super wife-duo behind Denim Designs. “I’ve always been a DIY person. I like to do things myself. I love creativity and I kind of dragged her into it and it happened by accident,” said Nicole. “We do a lot. So, anything in the name of creativity, basically, is what we do.” Danielle Campbell Photos.
