As the editorially independent arm of The Arts Council of Greater New Haven, the Arts Paper seeks to celebrate, explore, and investigate the fine, visual, performing and culinary arts in and around New Haven.

A few months ago, The Arts Paper held its first (and possibly only?) bad cartoon contest. We got some great entries, including a winner that's now available in an April 2018 issue on newsstands and in cafes around New Haven. That image comes from Vyanah Bennett, a student in graphic design and photography at Gateway Community College.
